I remember when I started playing the game, I was 9 years old then. I thought Glub was a cat...When I got him I realized I had been wrong. Crazy Cat Lady since birth it seems. I got the starter kit with Lotus and Deuce, and I didn't know how the portals worked. I thought that if you make them go in them they get more energy and get clean! (Random right?). One day I was walking around Funkeystown with Dauce, and I decided to go to the red portal to give him more energy. Suddenly something happened and the screen said "Loading Magma Gorge". Then Deuce appeared in a new place, I called for my little sister who also was surprised. That's the story on how we found out about the portals.

Me and my sister also fighted sometimes about who would get to change the main room and who would have to do the garage. Garage? I don't remember having a garage? It's the room you get when you buy a car. It is the third room (Throphy Room and Play Room being the 2 others) If you don't have any cars then you don't have a garage, maybe that's why you don't remember it?

I remember the first time I played funkeys, a year after by friend had got into it. They said that if I stayed in a funkey's home as a different funkey (Eg if I was Deuce in Scratch's place) for too long, the 'Wasabi Police' would come and get me. I spent four months quickly changing funkeys and trying to outrun da fuzz, that when the game updated and added in the quest to get the flaming Coconut for Berger, I did it in record time. I had the last laugh: To this day, my friend has never completed that quest.

I remember when I saw the U.B Funkeys in the store for the first time, and the Funkeys that caught my eye first were Deuce and Sprocket! I used to call them the fire funkey and the robot funkey. Oh the old good days...

I just remember getting Flurry one night.
And then my younger sister put it into a mop bucket filled with water that same night.
It still worked, but younger me didn't know that at first. Younger me was furious. Good job, younger me.

I always remember playing with them the wrong way, sure I'd play the actual game, but I gave them they're own little personalities and played with them like action figures most of the time. I liked that better, and me having a ton of them only made the little stories I made with them more interesting to me.
I also remember bringing my Stitch funkey to show and tell in kindergarten/first grade. I basically was the only kid in our school who had any, and after that, I remember kids started getting them haha.

I also remember bringing my Vroom and Deuce with me pretty much everywhere. Even though they hated each other in my little stories, they were really best buddies deep down. They've always been my two favorites, along with Xener (The one who always broke the fights haha ) I originally didn't pay attention to their actual names, and called Deuce "Fireball" and Vroom "Starro" <3
I actually ordered a few of the series 1 funkeys ( Vroom, Deuce, Xener, Twinx, Scratch, Bones, Fallout, and Lotus. ) on Amazon to put them on my computer desk. I really miss having all of them. I wanted to get Sprout, Glub, Wasabi, Stitch and Flurry as well, but I ran out of money ;-;
Next time I receive money I'll definitely buy my other favorites.
